Fort Anne Cafe - Annapolis Royal

Fort Anne Cafe was a good, not great restaurant in Annapolis Royal.

New owners and a trained cook. Decided to try lunch. A mistake. Only one booth empty but not cleared. We took it. All other guests except one waiting on food or staring at a menu. One diner outside eating, but she had a dog. We bussed the booth and got menus, and were willing to wait for the waitress to take our order. Another booth emptied, tired of waiting, I guess, and a family with three children came in and sat in it. The waitress brought them water and menus. When she returned to take their order we left. The lunch service is understaffed and stressed. The owners were not attentive. Everyone was waiting on food. We saw two servings delivered while we were there. We might try again later for breakfast or dinner, maybe. But not lunch. You need to hire help or start helping. Good luck.

Another good spot to break your fast with good eggs and local characters galore. Ask Owen and Jeff for advice on local interest.

Came here for lunch on Saturday. We had the clams & chips and western sandwich. Prices very reasonable. Service was good. Would definitely come here again if in the area.

Went there for a snack. Good menu and good prices. Most a burger and sandwich place. A little light on the atmosphere kind of plain Jane. Good service. Lots of locals there so it must be good.
