Andrews Brewing Company

This brewery and wine cellar have a unique history, as they are located in a former jailhouse, with some of the original bars still intact on the windows and doors. The setting is peaceful and inviting, overlooking raised garden beds and several rows of grapevines. You'll also find a couple of playful cats roaming around, adding to the charm of the place. They offer about five excellent craft beers available by the glass or in growlers. We were fortunate to visit while Crystal was working; she kindly showed us the winter room, a cozy space complete with a wood-burning stove to keep guests warm during the colder months. Please note that they do not serve food. On Friday and Saturday nights, live music brings a lively atmosphere to the brewery, making it a popular spot. There's a small parking lot next to the cellar and additional parking across the street. While the cellar doesn't stay open late, it’s a wonderful place to unwind and enjoy a pleasant experience.

Wow! The view from their front porch is absolutely breathtaking! They offer an excellent variety of beer and wine, both of which are fantastic! It’s such a relaxing atmosphere, perfect for socializing and reconnecting with friends. There’s even a space for live music! I will definitely be back on my next visit to Andrews! If you’re in the area or nearby, you have to check it out—you won’t regret it! I also want to mention that I drove just over two hours from Brevard, NC, and it was worth every single mile!

This is a lovely place to unwind. I grabbed some Eclipse IPA growlers in preparation for the upcoming eclipse. They also have a vineyard in the back and occasionally feature live music.

The owner is incredibly nice and informative. The wines and beers are delicious with a great variety. I would recommend this place to anyone.

I sort of hate reviewing breweries because beer taste is so subjective. If I don't like the beers that doesn't mean you won't love them! Andrews had okay beers for my taste...nothing blew me away. However..their servers were so friendly, the back view is phenomenal. Sitting on an adirondack chair and staring into the vineyard and mountain was like being in a good friends backyard. Loved the feeling there.
