The food was great, worthy of one Michelin star, maybe two, from start to finish. The staff is very nice and charming, but they committed minor flaws... and this might explain why Michelin has yet to assign the restaurant a star: they failed to fill our wine glasses at least twice, and kept the bottle away from the table, which made us unable to do it ourselves; they did not provide proper cutlery for fish; when we asked to share an appetiser they did not provide extra plates; when we shared a dessert, they failed to provide an extra spoon; our waiter spilled some wine when serving us the first time. Mind you, these are all very minor faults that hardly detracted from an overall wonderful evening. I mention them only to explain why is it that a restaurant that serves such stellar food items, from the amuses to the dessert, was not assigned a Michelin star. The wine offering is of good quality and varied, at reasonable prices. We will surely return many times to taste everything on the menu!

Had the 4 course chefs menu. The variety of tastes made this spectacular. Well worth the visit.

Nice place, good food, good service, welcoming could be better

De Jonge Dikkert offered a beautiful meal with excellent service. An excellent place to celebrate with a cozy atmosphere! The 6-course menu offers a wide selection of dishes and the wine repair was good.
