I traveled from Columbia, SC, to meet my family who was driving down from NJ, and we chose Edith’s as a convenient halfway point. The menu had a wide variety of choices, prices were very reasonable, and the biscuit on my egg sandwich was absolutely delicious! Everyone enjoyed their meals, and the staff was friendly, even offering us drinks to take with us if we wanted. For starters, Edith was fantastic and the food was just as good. The eggs were cooked perfectly, as ordered and the corned beef hash had a nice crispy shell . She is super sweet and absolutely worth the stop to eat here. Don 't pass this place without stopping by. We were driving to another place, and saw this one. We pulled in on a whim. Absolutely wonderful. My husband had a cheeseburger; he says it's the best he's had in a long time. I asked for a BLT, but can't have bread. I asked for it to be made into a salad. I have asked for this at countless diners, and they got it PERFECT. Good onion rings, good sweet tea. Go there.
