We’d been here previously and been looked after by Kirsty (who we are delighted is still here). We stopped by for lunch this year (previously rooms have been super comfortable for our family of 4 and very clean, so I know that as Kirsty still looks after things, it will still be perfect). The menu was really varied, very generous portions and delicious food. We had an amazing ploughman’s, bread board, tacos of the day and it was all delicious. Really irritating to stand patiently waiting with my family while the barmaid chats and takes her time serving two single men. No other people at the bar other than them and us. She finally finishes and another man walks into the bar and she goes straight to him next. Too interested in chatting with the blokes and not observing who is stood in front of her.

I just stopped by for a coffee and cake, and we received a warm welcome from the young lady at the bar. Thank you! Service: 5 Location: 5
