O Moinho - Almodovar

Simply bad.. I went there some times and it just got worse everyday. Terrible service (a guy called Luis , very small and irregular sized portions (why is the other customer portion so different from mine? . Food quality is quite bad for a alentejano restaurant. Also prices don't make sense and change depending on who you pay the bill and (I guess the mood of the employees. Sorry, never again.

Not very hospitable, potatoes under cooked, no light in the womens washroom and only cash. Never again

It's a regular restaurant with simple and good food (good in quality and also cooked good , nice overall environment and banal unengaging table staff (maybe I was unlucky with the table staff that day, I'll give him the benefit of the doubt... . Went there after seeing the reviews on TripAdvisor, but I didn't find it worth the travel. Yes, it has good and simple food at a fair price, very simple atmosphere and the staff is effective (not really engaging, but they get the job done . As for downsides, it has no typical desserts (in a local Alentejo restaurant that's a big negative for me and no ATM (no credit/debit cards accepted . Surely a nice and safe place to eat if you are already on Almodovar since there aren't many options there. Not worth traveling just to visit it.

Lovely home cooked meals simple but delicious, very good value and friendly service and they speak English if needed.
