The presentation of my dish (seared halibut with citrus shrimp, seared tomatoes, and capers) was sublime. I will definitely have to start searing my capers from now on, haha! The atmosphere was beautiful, set in an old theatre.
We came across this place while driving through town and were initially taken aback by the grill concept since we were craving burgers. Although it's on the pricey side, the food is exceptional. The bread they serve is absolutely fantastic. It's a beautiful spot for a date night!
The atmosphere was wonderful, but I was disappointed with the food. Compared to other fine dining experiences, I expect a better value for what I pay. The quality of the meal did not live up to the price. Additionally, the service was just average.
Promoted as the best steak in town. Order the marinated 18oz bone in Ribeye cooked medium. It comes out a hair over raw at best. Send it back and then it comes out again ?warmed? medium raw! The flavor was fantastic but if you can?t cook the meat toorder on a $54 steak you need a new chef! The waiter apologized and offered a discount but the dinner was over and disappointingin the end.
I also sampled the crème brûlée and beignets. The beignets were like flaky biscuits with layers, but they weren't made in the traditional way. I’d recommend skipping the beignets unless you're looking for a variation that resembles Pillsbury Grand biscuits. I ordered a Pink Sapphire cocktail, which was enjoyable and worth trying. Overall, I had a good experience, though I think one visit might be enough for now.
