Definitely best Fried Chicken in town!!! The Tacos are good especially Shredded Chicken and Baja Fish. I have got the Duck Taco a few times as takeaway which used to be my favorite but this time it was really tough. The star of tonight though was the dessert Oh my brownie was to die for. Will definitely be my go to.

Daughter and myself had a lovely lunchtime here whilst I was visting from Pukekohe Nth Island. Staff very attentive.

Visiting the area and decided to go for Mecixan. Started with the chicken wings on the September special. They were tasty as and would've ordered another lot if not for three tacos each coming right up. Loved the pork meatballs taco, and the duck especially. Had a nice glass of sangria to go with it, and all round would thoroughly recommend.

It's not as good as the one in Cromwell. Waitress didn't really know about what's vegan and what's nit, but she assured me that the chef would know. The place looked run down and dirty. As it's a small town with limited options, it's not a bad stop, but i've had better. 2 tacos and a shared corn chips w/guac was enough for lunch.

Nice to find vegan options in a small town like this. Ask for the menu with dietary requirements to see the vegan options. Most of the mains claim they can be made vegan I don’t know if there’s vegan cheese though, no sign of that on the menu. We tried the corn chips and guacamole, and the tacos one with cauliflower, one with jackfruit, and one with kumara and potato (nice touch on that was added battered and fried jalapeños). The corn chips were not house fried like the menu claimed, but the tacos were tasty and quite filling simple, but nice and tasty options in an area without much for vegans overall.
