Bidrage med feedbackIf you're considering using the pool during your stay, I would strongly advise against it. My children were excited to swim, but when we entered the pool area, we found that it was being used for swimming lessons for non-hotel guests, which I found quite odd. To make matters worse, the pool was absolutely disgusting. Even my 6-year-olds noticed that it looked and smelled terrible. They were very disappointed, and I was horrified. I even overheard one of the swimming instructors mentioning to a colleague that the water had a "fishy" smell. I can't believe they were conducting lessons in that pool! I wouldn't even consider dipping my toe in it. Please, clean your pool! (See photos.)
We enjoyed a spacious room with a comfortable bed. The bathroom featured an automatic light that had a mind of its own, turning on and off randomly! Daily cleaning service was provided, which was nice. As we were on the ground floor, it could get a bit noisy at times. The reception staff were a mixed bag, with some being very friendly while others were quite frosty. Breakfast was typical for this type of hotel. There was ample parking available, although we did notice a homeless person living in their car in the lot, but they didn't cause any issues. A Tesla charging station was also available in one part of the parking area, which became quite busy. The hotel is conveniently located near various restaurants and shops, as well as a main road. It was just a short drive to the Scott Road SkyTrain station, which was very helpful.
This is a solid 3.5-star hotel that offers excellent service, a satisfying complimentary breakfast, comfortable beds, and quiet rooms. The fitness room may be small, but it’s well-equipped, and the housekeeping staff is very attentive. Parking is convenient, and there are plenty of restaurants, shops, and grocery stores in the vicinity. Given the value for the price paid, I would definitely choose to stay here again. While it's a 40-minute drive to the center of Vancouver, the cost difference makes it worthwhile.
We arrived early for our check-in that morning and needed to leave suddenly due to a family emergency. We had asked them to hold our luggage for about half an hour. I fully understand that we would lose our payment as a result, but I still requested a credit since we planned to return on the 16th and 17th for a night or two. A couple of days later, the representative I worked with called to check in and see if everything was okay, which I appreciated. She informed me that the manager would call me the next day (Tuesday) to let me know whether we could receive a credit. Unfortunately, it seems the manager chose to ignore our request, opting not to reach out to me at all. As a result, I’ll be looking for another hotel, as customer service is crucial to me when spending a significant amount of money. I want to extend my gratitude to the two wonderful representatives who assisted us on September 3; you both were truly amazing. Brent Perry
My family stayed at this hotel in 2022 and had such a fantastic experience that we decided to return a year later. We enjoyed another wonderful stay on the weekend of May 6, 2023. The rooms were impeccably clean, just like the rest of the property. The staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating, going out of their way to fulfill our request for an early check-in so we could change for a wedding. We were extremely pleased! Additionally, the breakfast included with our stay was delightful—there were so many options, all of which were simply delicious. If you're looking for a place to stay in Langley, I highly recommend the Holiday Inn Express and Suites Langley. Thank you so much to everyone!
