Golden Crown Panaderia - Albuquerque

The bakery is very popular among the locals and has a dedicated fan base. The staff is attentive and often knows customers by name, starting their orders promptly upon their arrival. I recently tried the bisochito for the first time and found it to be delicious and a perfect complement to coffee. I am excited to return and try their pizzas and empanadas, which looked amazing as well!

When I lived in Albuquerque, I loved Golden Crown and it is still amazing. The staff at the front counter is always friendly. They have a wide selection of teas from the nearby New Mexico Tea Company. All of their baked goods are tasty, but make sure to snag the peanut butter and chocolate cookies if they're available because they sell out quickly. I've heard their coffee is also excellent. The restaurant has a beautiful patio with plenty of seating.

I tried my first ever bisochito (which goes perfectly with coffee) and was pleasantly surprised by how delicate and tasty it was! This lovely restaurant was built by the owner, who is a very charming man. The pastries are incredibly delicious and come in a wide variety. You can't order at the counter, but there is a machine outside to place your order.
