Vaquero Dining - Albion

The $80pp banquet was filling but nothing special. The steak was a rump and the side veggies were two large broccoli flowers. The silverbeet that went with my barramundi was hard to cut through. The service was outstanding and the ambience was lovely. While we’ve preferred other restaurants we’ve been to recently, we enjoyed the experience.

The excellent service was matched with the great food and wine. My friend had the duck and I had the lamb both were prepared to perfection. Special shout out to smoked butter, the Brussel sprouts and the Devine Napoleon dessert.

Fantastic service and guest awareness, unfortunately let down by chewy over cook lamb and cheek.
