Casa Menendez - Águilas

We have been meaning to go to Casa Menendez for months and finally made it for a birthday celebration. The outcome....simply stunning regional food prepared with the obvious affection of the owners. Cannot fault our meal in any way nor the attentive service throughout. Let the owner offer you suggestions but make sure you try the fabadas which have a terrific smoky flavour. Also the house cider ...and it's table pump...is a must. We went with the idea of trying Asturian beef....but didn't get past the fabadas, merluza, rape and bacalao, all of which were bueatifully cooked dishes. An absolute must visit .....and we will certainly be back

Marvellous. You need a reservation. Gery special from THE beginnen till THE end. Exquisite food. Nog cheap. THE boss is called Bautista and his WiFi does THE kitchen. Let Bautista show you THE best dishes.

Amazing place, warm and friendly owner made us fill so invited. Great food and drinks. Traditional cider is a must. One of the restaurant that you will make a 50 km detour to check. ENJOY

Es la segunda vez que vamos y definitivamente volveremos. la comida espectacular, el tratamiento inmejorable y el lugar tranquilo y acogedor.

Ambiente familiar, el sr. Bautista muy atento y la comida... no se describe con palabras, hay que venir a probarla. Le doy 3 estrellas mi chelín, merece la pena viajar a Águilas para probar su comida. Bueno, Águilas mola!!!
