The Junction - Aberdeen

There was an excessive amount of unnecessary packaging. Even the napkins were wrapped in plastic. The food was decent, and the staff was friendly, but I’m really unsettled by the amount of waste generated from our lunch.

We came in to pick up a mobile order, and the owner gave us a sideways glance after we mentioned our order and who it was for. All she said was that it was supposed to be picked up at 4:00, but it was only 3:55. That wouldn't have been a big deal, except they handed us a bowl straight out of the microwave. The owner's pointed tone every time we were about to take a bite was really off-putting, especially since we hadn't done anything wrong. If it weren't for that experience, I wouldn't have felt the need to leave a review. It's frustrating to see someone who owns a business act like they dislike being there. It's not a good look.

I had lunch at this restaurant and overall, it was a great experience. The food was delicious, earning a solid rating of 4 out of 5. The service was exceptional, deserving a perfect score of 5. The atmosphere was pleasant as well, providing a nice ambiance, which I rated 4. The meal cost approximately $10–20 per person, making it quite affordable for the quality offered. I would definitely recommend this place!
