Bidrage med feedbackLocated in the hot spring street, this yakiniku restaurant has no parking lot. However, they were accommodating when I called. The staff, a kind gentleman, was efficient and friendly, giving off a warm and genuine vibe. The restaurant was packed and had a traditional atmosphere, not upscale but rather a cozy spot that locals would frequent. The meat was reasonably priced and the lettuce was exceptionally fresh and crunchy, a delightful surprise. I've ordered lettuce at many yakiniku restaurants before, but this was my first time experiencing such freshness. If you're looking for a fancy and upscale yakiniku restaurant, this may not be for you. However, for me, it was a nostalgic and comfortable experience with great service.
I visited using the Yamagata Summer Travel Campaign. I couldn't find the parking lot, so I stopped by the restaurant and asked for directions, and they guided me to a shared parking lot. They apologized for it being a little far, but it wasn't really that far. The food was delicious, including meat, beer, salad, namul, kimchi, rice, soup, and soft serve ice cream with 6 flavors to choose from. The staff at the restaurant, especially the young man, were very kind and had a big smile on their faces!
This is a yakiniku restaurant, but they also had ramen and cold noodles. A friend recommended the "Yamimori" yakiniku dish to me, which was delicious and reasonably priced. The ramen had a flavorful broth, although it was a bit salty. It might actually be the perfect amount of saltiness after drinking alcohol at night.
