Wèi Qiān ラーメン Sì Shuǐ Diàn

I stumbled upon this Kumamoto Ramen restaurant without any prior research on November 12, 2019. I wanted to try their most popular dish, the Paiku noodles (¥860). The noodles were medium-thin straight noodles, and the soup had the unique flavor of Kumamoto Ramen. The thick slices of chashu were delicious and tender. I wanted to take photos of the interior, but the owner asked me not to because it was old and run-down. The master and staff were all friendly and lively.

While the exterior of the restaurant may not be beautiful, the interior is well-maintained. I tried the "Zen-nose" ramen, and both the bamboo shoots and chashu were incredibly delicious. The soup was also fantastic.

I had the "Paiku" ramen. The meat was tender to the bone and slightly sweet, perfect match with the tonkotsu soup. Absolutely delicious!
