The food here I had is pretty good and worth returning for.
It straight away has become my favourite Italian after my 1st dining experience! Was blown away by the quality of the chilli mussels and out of the world
Came here with a bunch of friends to celebrate a birthday. We made an online booking and arrived on time in a big group. Greeted by friendly wait staff and advised us that we would need to wait about 10 minutes for our table to be ready (there was another family occupying our allocated table). We were shown to our tables and ordered our meals not too long after being seated. Our entrees came pretty promptly. We had the salt and pepper squid, melted raclette on baked potato with wood fired bread; fried polenta with sautéed mushrooms and truffle cream sauce; and the chilli mussels. The fried polenta was a but dry and chewy but the truffle cream sauce was delicious! For mains we had the spaghetti nero i seppia, linguine marinara, ravioli di porcini, ravioli dell'orto, chicken parmigiana, calzone inferno and Valtellina pizza. Our mains took a very long time to come. The waiter was very informative and kept us updated and also explained that we were a big group and it will take longer and also apologised for how long it took. The ravioli de porcini was quite tasty. The calzone was ok. Too much crust for us. The squid ink spaghetti was not bad. For dessert we had the warm sticky date pudding, the pannacotta, and the lemon and sugar crepe. The waiter was very generous to give us a free dessert to the birthday girl. Would love to come back but maybe not in a big group. Love the friendliness of the waitstaff and would love to try more of their pizzas!
