Pierpont's at Union Station

I never knew that there was a steakhouse in Union Station. It just so happened (other than Jasper's). My best dining experience in Kansas City.

This place is billed as having great seafood. Well, the first ;bad ; thing that happened is that they were ;sold out ; of all seafood. This was the primary reason we went to this restaurant. The crab cake appetizer was good and the salad average. I ended up having a fillet. It was dry with little flavor. The deserts were ;OK ; nothing spectacular. The service was fair, but the waiter overcharged us $30 on our original bill, I had to point it out. Overall, VERY disappointing experience.

Amazing service, drinks, and food. It’s absolutely beautiful, perfectly lit, cozy but open. Best oysters in the city. Amazing liquor selection. Fantastic and knowledgeable service. 10/10.

Casual elegance. Always delicious food. A longtime favorite place to eat in Kansas City.

Emanuel is an outstanding server. We had a great time at brunch.
