Waitress (Olivia) was not customer service driven. Felt like she hid out in the kitchen most of the time instead of checking on us and other tables. Had to ask other waitresses to help us. She was better toward the end. Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4

The atmosphere could use some improvement, but the standout dishes make it worth a visit.

I have not been a fan of Cracker Barrel in the past. Seems like they never pass up opportunity to mess up my order. No matter what I order they seem to always get something wrong. So I stopped going for a long time. Well, I gave it another try as I was with a group that wanted Cracker Barrel breakfast. I will say, it was good and they got everything right. I had the double meat breakfast, no complaints. The bacon was fried right, the eggs were right and the breakfast biscuits were perfect. I also had a side of grits and they were great too. Server was so friendly and we didn't have to wait for refills. They were busy but the food was cooked quick and it was fresh. If I have another good visit I will add another star for sure.

I ordered the shrimp with hush puppies. My husband ordered the fried chicken and the waiter came back and said that they could not cook that at that time of night, it was just after 8pm. He ordered the chicken fried chicken. We got our food in around 5 minutes. His was ok, but my shrimp and hush puppies were dark and looked like they had been in a warming tray all afternoon. I think that they dumped all the leftovers from the day on my plate. I could not even finish it! There were others that came in after we did, but it seemed that everyone was more interested in going home than giving a customer a good experience. We do not have a Cracker Barrel close to us and we used to look forward to vacation so we can go to one. Not anymore, On our way home we avoided going to them even though we were looking at one out our hotel window! Literally left a bad taste in my mouth and we will NOT go back. Biscuits and corn muffins are not good anymore either. Not worth the money at all.

My wife and I enjoyed the meatloaf lunch special, and it was delicious with fantastic flavor. The mashed potatoes with gravy and fried okra were also a real treat—so good! The service was outstanding; despite the restaurant being a bit busy, we only waited about five minutes. The staff were friendly and attentive. We always love the excellent home-cooked meals here and have never experienced any issues or bad food. And make sure to order extra biscuits and cornbread muffins—they're a must-have! As for accessibility, there is a wheelchair access at the front entrance.
