I’ve always thought of Starbucks as a brand dedicated to inclusivity and supporting individuals with disabilities, whether physical or otherwise. Unfortunately, some staff members appeared to lack awareness of the culture and values that Starbucks represents. I also noticed that the only other reviews on this site are from 2020 and 2021, which leads me to believe there might be a general lack of concern among the staff regarding their workplace, customers, and colleagues. However, I am giving it 3 stars now, as most issues have been addressed.
Totally overrated! We used a gift card from my lovely daughter for our first visit, and the drinks we got were incredibly disappointing. We asked for recommendations, but they were awful! My partner ended up dumping hers as we walked out, which was quite amusing. I played it safe and got a mocha frappe, which might have been a better choice. At least we found something to laugh about!
I had the absolute worst experience at Starbucks! I ordered a drink without whipped cream and peppermint, but they messed it up twice—first giving me whipped cream without the peppermint, and then the second time still with whipped cream. When I asked for a third remake, they informed me they were out of mocha. Frustrated, I chose to leave and went to the Starbucks in front of Walmart instead.
Every time I've visited this restaurant, the staff always seems like they would rather be anywhere else. I only come here as a special treat for my daughter. Even the cashier at Ingles appears to know more about the Starbucks menu and is much friendlier!
I walked in to get a coffee and stood at the counter for five minutes without anyone acknowledging my presence, despite being the only customer there. Three young women were working that day—one was occupied, while the other two glanced at me and then turned away. Regrettably, everything I wanted was sold out. I can only hope that my skin color wasn't a factor in the poor service I received. This location really needs to embrace more diversity. I often travel north, and I won’t be returning to this location again.
