Food is horrible and it doesn't even taste like Chinese food Also I hate your food I'm not coming back ever

I walked into Hong Kong Buffet on my drive back from Indiana, trying to balance my craving for Chinese with my need to get to work on time.

Wide variety and authentic Chinese, Asian and American foods. HUGE selection of foods. If i want some Asian food i'd defiantly go back over and over.

This was the most unpleasant dining experience I've ever had. The staff member seemed irritated by our group of six arriving on a Friday night when we were the only customers. The egg rolls were sour, but the eggs and toast were decent. However, the ham was excessively salty. I would have given a better review if we hadn't felt rushed to leave. Regina, our server, was fantastic, and the coffee was excellent. Unfortunately, the food and overall service were lacking. Even inebriated, I found the food unappetizing. I recommend saving your money.

Everything here is made from scratch, and the owner is really awesome. Some of the dishes are his personal recipes, and they all retain their original names. His name is Peter, and he’s an immigrant with a fascinating story to share. He's quite intelligent, and even at his age, he’s still actively running his own restaurant. He's even had the chance to meet Bruce Lee and has trained him in martial arts! You should definitely give it a visit. The prices are reasonable too. The food doesn't taste commercial at all, which makes for a refreshing change, especially for someone like me.
