Creperie Le Triskell - Avranches

On the destination bien trouver des endroits sympas, hors le circuit des restaurants franchises. ce soir, à avranches, on a eu le plaisir de manger dans ce restaurant. trois galettes bretonnes et un steak frites, cuit à la perfection. l’accueil est d’une qualité rare (et oui,...je viens de lire d’autres avis.) un excellent repas, pour un très, très bon prix, avec un accueil chaleureux. je conseille fortement un repas dans ce restaurant. we love to find typical French restaurants, away from the usual franchized matters. tonight, in avranches, we had the pleasure to eat in this restaurant. three Breton godets (if they have never eaten a galette, they really have to try one) and a steak and chips (boiled with the steak to perfection.) the service is of rare quality (and yes, I have just read some of the other opinions that were recently written here.) an excellent meal, for a very, very decent price, with a very warm welcome. I strongly advise them to stay here when they're over.

We live about an hour from the Atlantic coast of normandie, so decided to have a day in and around avranches. After we parked in the tourist office shortly before the afternoon, we noticed la crêperie le triskell directly opposite the parking lot. a reason. we have chosen a crêperie to lunch because my wife is vegetarian and there is always a large selection of options in a crêperie. we were not disappointed. my wife had la galette végétarienne - no surprise there - although there were other decisions for her, and I had the st. jacques. each came with salate and both were delicious. service was friendly and fast, but not pushy. two kirs normands, galettes, coffee and dessert cost €36. pas mal, hein? we would eat there again.

Clean them simply, functionally furnished. good menu for what it is and average / moderate price. convenient helpful staff.

The atmosphere is very good and the owners/hosts are very nice people. The steaks that we ate were a bit stringy and somewhat undercooked as you can expect in France.

Visited this delightful little gem of a restaurant on 24/04/13 purely because we had tried and failed to get in at lunchtime because it was so busy and seemed to be the busiest eateries in town. We were certainly not disappointed. The proprietress, despite her...arm being in a heavy bandage, did her utmost to make us welcome from the outset. The restaurant is billed as a creperie but is much more than that with a full restaurant menu available. I opted for the steak and my partner the veal escalope. We both enjoyed it and in total the bill came to only 48.40€ which included two starters, the mains as above, a 50cl carafe of house wine and two coffees. All in all a very, very fine restaurant with excellent, friendly staff and a superb eating experience... Try it ...you will not be disappointed...
